I left on my trip from Wisconsin on Oct. 19. Spent the first night at a Super Walmart in Illinois. I saw a big sign on my way into their lot stating there were no trucks allowed on the lot. I checked with management to be sure I could stay the night. Sure didn’t want to wake up to a wrecker towing me away. My stay was approved. About an hour later the semi’s started rolling in(guess they missed that sign). Must have been ten there when I woke up!
Second night was spent at a privately owned rv park in Peducah, Kentucky called Victory RV Park, Inc. Very nice park, and the owners Shawn & Tammy Miller were excellent hosts. Amenities included electric, water, dump, at each site. They also had a laundry room, bathhouse, playground, community fire ring, a fenced pet run, large pond, community outdoor pavilion, and onsite propane. All this for $27.00 with my Good Sam discount.
You are really into RVing!
