I thought it would never come, but here it was, my very first day “on the road”. I arrived at my Daughter and son-in-law’s home on the evening of July 1st
. It proved to be a very long day, as my GPS took me right through San Antonio at rush hour.

On day two of my visit, we went to the Comfort, Texas Fourth of July parade.

The following are some favorite views from the Hill Country:

And my two favorite people from the Hill Country…my youngest daughter, Tamara & my son-in-law, Tim. It was a great weekend!!
wonderful to see a bit of Texas…as I only set one foot down on about 13 inches of soil in one little corner, many moons ago…your blog reveals much more to the eye! Thank you for sharing! Waiting to hear more of your adventures!

Hi Pat, Looks like you got started on the rest of your life 🙂 Glad to see that. I like your rig. This is Nancy from the Senior meet Seniors. I finally got my $ together and on my way to Nagadoches Texas to pick up my new 5th wheel. I am scheduled to pick it up on Monday the 10th. Then back to New Mexico to register it and move stuff from my old one to my new one. I am still stuck in Barstow Calif. helping the 86 Y.O. lady wither daily routine. Her memory is going more each month. So my email is neisbren@gmail.com if you want to stay in touch.
Nancy
